To ensure higher visibility in tunnels, indoor car parks and other low-light conditions, the headlamps and small lamps automatically turn on and off as needed. The automatic lamps are enabled whenever the combination lamp switch is in the AUTO position.

The Ertiga’s bonnet, front bumper, front windscreen wiper area, and other front-end components are designed to absorb impact with the aim of mitigating head and leg injuries in the event of a collision with a pedestrian.

Ultrasonic sensors in the rear bumper detect obstacles when in reverse gear, and audible alerts sound to indicate your approximate distance from the obstacles as you approach. The GLX model is even equipped with a camera that shows the view to the rear on the audio system display
